This a week long mini course of Introduction to Sanskrit, and therefore we will focus on learning Devanāgari alphabet with which is written the Sanskrit language. Devanāgarī is composed of 47 primary characters, 14 vowels and 33 consonants.

Sanskrit is an amazing language that works with the all mouth box to correctly speak it, and it takes skill to draw comprehensibly each character. Besides merging into the beautiful Indian culture through this language, there is certainly a lot of benefits to the brain in absorving the base of a new language.

We will learn how to correctly read and pronounce the alphabet, and practice in writing syllables and assemble words in Sanskrit. At the end of this course, you will be able to read and write Devanāgiri Sanskrit. You will be able to better understand the sounds of your favorite mantras, and apply a more correct pronunciation to them.

This course can be of your interest, wether you are a yogi, a student of the scriptures, an enthusiastic about alphabets and languages, an artist, a soul traveler or something else… be welcome!
